QJD design studio in conjunction with wildetecture is exploring insectiture and arachniture wildetect design elements within a furniture design arena - because prattling on about designing creatively outside the box is never ever as strong as actually creating a piece that one can argue, most likely is outside a box.

ive always mused as to why dining room tables and chairs are not designed as one integrated form. They are separate tasks,  hence designed visually independently. this is possibly due to space or cost. additionally  huge wild  sculpture is not always possible in today's small homes. so to endeavor to create furniture that is both sculptural and functional has become an obsession of wildetect 3 of 3. as a designer one can only create from ones influence and from ones small life experience. so taking into consideration my Frisian roots and my absolute love affair with the African continent. a wildetect wild Norse longboat exploded off the sketch pad. the ribs are similar to the fish bone table designed before - however the viking dragon head adds another dimension. the shadow this piece casts is also interesting for me , the piece throws a distinctive scorpion shadow sculpture - this all adds  to the wildetect ideal of further sculpting with shadow. archite

wildetecture v8 skateboard deck rack

The wildetect V8 skateboard rack art ensamble. Have considered chopping off an ear for attention in the art world.  But have refrained due to the wild attention seeking end product of the V8 engine type block skateboard rack.  Dont think the ear off would be as dramatic to be honest. But thats just my very biased opinion, plus my conservative one, as i kinda like my ear. And attention from the art world is so yesterday really.
