I have considered chopping off an ear for attention in the art world. However artistic disfigurement expression is now the very first vestige of a shy insular artistic mind. In otherwords its old hat. Disfigurement is an obvious outlet. Wearing ones creative intensity on the outside is now considered the artistic norm. Infact not being disfigured is the really now statement. 

So i have refrained from lopping off my ear due to the fact willfull bodily disfigurement is now very common place. Its to my mind the collective buildup of being invisible and unnoticed, subliminal attention deficit disorder.  The list of the disfigured themselves for the sake of artistic expression is mostly everyone. So the only other way of getting real artistic attention is, through your actual art creative work expression.

So the wild attention seeking end product of the V8 aesthetic engine art block skateboard art deck ensamble rack is that very attention seeking piece. Like missing an ear really. 

Dont really think the ear off now days would be as dramatic as the V8 skateboard deck sculpture to be honest. But thats just my very small biased opinion, plus my conservative one, as i also kinda like my ear. Albeit deaf, im not ready to wear my creative crazy outwardly just yet. Prefer the incognito approach. Best when nobody knows who you are even. 

Attention from the art world is actually more challenging to garner than being just a living head without a body at the circus. Nobody goes to circuses anymore. I Feel very sorry for all the bodyless heads not getting any artistic love and attention to be honest. But suffering for ones art is definetly aligned with being a creative.
